Cleanlist.ca Launches Canada’s Proprietary Change of Address Mover Update Service

London and Ottawa, ON, Canada. Cleanlist.ca today announced Canada's first Proprietary Change of Address (PCOA) solution. PCOA enhances Canada Post's NCOA database by adding more mover data from other credible sources. The service is also an alternative to NCOA for organizations that struggle to comply with Canada Post’s licensing restrictions.

Cleanlist.ca, and parent company Interact Direct, were Canada Post's first NCOA licensees when the database was first released in 1999. For the past 13 years, Cleanlist has used the Canada Post data to update its clients' contact lists. Currently, Cleanlist offers NCOA mover update services through Full-Service, Self-Service and Automated API service delivery channels. Clients using the service range from small retailers and fundraisers to the Fortune 500, across Canada and the United States.

According to Jeff Bisset, Cleanlist's president, "our company’s sole purpose is to help our clients acquire and maintain the most current and up-to-date Canadian contact data. Since 1 in 5 Canadians move each year, updating databases for people and businesses who move is critical to any data maintenance solution. We're delighted to announce that with PCOA, we've extended our reach and can now offer an even better mover update solution."

Cleanlist recommends that its PCOA solution be processed as an enhancement to its Canada Post NCOA solution. Cleanlist's testing has shown that update rates improve by as much as 40% compared to Canada Post NCOA alone. Or, for some organizations who are unable to comply with Canada Post’s NCOA data licensing restrictions, PCOA may be the only solution they need.
